Welcome to Kenston Lady Bombers Travel Fastpitch Softball

Welcome to the official page of Kenston Lady Bombers Travel Fastpitch Softball—the elite, competitive travel division of Kenston Fastpitch. Our program brings together talented, driven athletes who are passionate about learning, growing, competing, and playing the game at a high level.

Our players are more than great athletes—they are respectful teammates, eager learners, dedicated competitors, and future leaders. The Lady Bombers travel together, compete together, and grow together while building confidence, lifelong friendships, and a love for the game. While our goal is to compete and win, our greater mission is to develop strong, well-rounded young women who represent Kenston with character, integrity, and pride.

Kenston Fastpitch participates in the Western Reserve Fastpitch (WRF) League and follows all WRF rules and age guidelines.

Season Information

Summer Season: May – July*

Player development begins well before the season starts. *Beginning in January, athletes have the opportunity to participate in optional skill sessions, hitting instruction, and open gym opportunities, typically once or twice each week. Outdoor practices begin as soon as weather permits, generally in mid-March.

During the summer season, teams typically play 2–4 games per week from May through mid-July. Coaches may choose to participate in additional local weekend tournaments based on team interest and availability. (Additional tournament fees may apply.)

Many teams also participate in Fall Ball, providing players and coaches with an additional opportunity to develop together before the next summer season. Fall Ball typically consists of one game per week and is optional for players. Team rosters may vary slightly from the summer travel teams formed during tryouts based on player and coach availability.
