Tryouts for Boys & Girls in 3rd-6th Grade
KENSTON RESIDENTS ONLY
- Registration is required and free to tryout
- See detailed schedule below and on the Sports Page in the Winter Travel Basketball section
- Players MUST make 1 of 2 tryouts minimum (attending both sessions is encouraged)
- Being on a team last year does not guarantee that you will have a position this year
TRYOUT RESTRICTIONS
- NO SPECTATORS
Tryout sessions are closed to spectators. Only coaches, evaluators and players will be permitted in the gym during tryouts.
- RESTRICTED CLOTHING
Players will not be permitted to tryout if they wear any clothing that would create an unfair bias during the tryout evaluation process
- cannot wear anything that has their name on it
- cannot wear any previous Kenston team uniforms
- cannot wear any other clothing that would create an unfair advantage

Tuesdays 9/19 and 9/26

6:00-7:00 – 3rd & 4th grade girls
7:00-8:00 – 5th & 6th grade girls

BOYS TRYOUTS
Wednesdays 9/20 and 9/27
KIS & KMS Gyms
5:00-6:30 – 3rd grade boys KIS
6:30-8:00 – 4th grade boys KIS
5:00-6:30 – 5th grade boys KMS
6:30-8:00 – 6th grade boys KMS

INVITATION TO PLAY
9/30/23 – Rosters will be posted by 10am
10/5/23 – Deadline to accept invitation to play. If you are invited to play, the cost will be $325. Players must be registered and paid by 4pm on Thursday, October 5th or their spot will be given to the next player in line.
COACHES
9/30/23 – Online application to coach will be opened.
10/2/23 – Interested coaches will have until Monday, October 2nd 11pm to submit a coach application on the Sports Page in Winter Travel Basketball section.
10/3/23 – Coaches will be announced
MANDATORY UNIFORM TRY-ON
10/7/23 – Uniform try-ons from 8am-4pm at Gardiner Center
MANDATORY PARENT/PLAYER MEETING
10/11/23 – MANDATORY Parent/Player meeting at 7pm (location TBD)
10/11/23 – FINAL UNIFORM ORDERS due.
