Dance for Musical Theatre
Mondays, January 8, 2024 – March 4, 2024
6:00pm – 7:00pm
Ages: 8-12 years old
Location: Kenston Gardiner Center
Fairmount Instructor: Jasmine Renee
In this program, participants will explore the history of dance in musical theatre while learning classic steps and choreography from beloved Broadway shows. The final class of each session will feature a performance for family and friends.
Youth Guitar Ensemble
Tuesdays, January 9, 2024 – February 20, 2024
4:45pm – 5:45pm
Ages: 8-12 years old
Location: Kenston Gardiner Center
Fairmount Instructor: Nick Kokensparger
Registration deadline: 12/26/2023
In this program, participants will learn guitar basics in a small group environment. The final class of each session will feature a performance for friends and family. Students are asked to come prepared with their own instruments.
Itty Bitty Music
Tuesdays, January 9, 2024 – February 20, 2024
5:15pm – 6:15pm
Ages: 3-5 years old (with accompanying adult)
Location: Kenston Gardiner Center
Fairmount Instructor: Katy La Favre
Itty Bitty Music focuses on composing simple rhythms, moving to music of various styles, and exposure to a variety of vocal and instrumental sounds.
Students and their grownups will have the chance to share wat they have learned and perform together during their final share day at the end of each session.
