11th & 12th Grade – “Varsity” League
HIGH SCHOOL REC BASKETBALL DRAFT NIGHT
Thursday, February 15, 2023 – 7:00 pm at Gardiner Center
All coaches and players are welcome to attend; pizza will be served
*Player draft is Thursday, February 15th at 7pm
*NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DRAFT
*Players will register for either 9th/10th grade or 11th/12th grade divisions
*KCE reserves the right to combine divisions based on enrollment numbers
*Each team will receive one weekday practice
*Practice night will be assigned by KCE
*Games will be played on Sundays between 12-8pm
TENTATIVE DATES
*Thursday, 2/15 – Mandatory Coach Meeting/Player Draft
*Week of 2/20 – Weekday practices begin
*School team players cannot participate until their high school season is over
*Sunday, 2/25 – Scrimmage
*Sunday Games – 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28
*Tournament Games 5/12 & 5/19
*No games Spring Break/Easter Sunday 3/24 & 3/31 – Prom Weekend 5/4
Due to OHSAA Regulations, only 2 Kenston High School players can be placed on the same recreational team. HIGH SCHOOL TEAM PLAYER SPOTS ARE LIMITED.
