Rec Baseball & Softball Registration Deadline is April 30th!

Grades 7th-9th (March 31st), Grades 1st-6th (April 30th), T-Ball (May 13th)
REGISTER FOR CURRENT GRADE (2023-24 School Year)


Baseball

Coach Pitch (Currently in 1st-2nd Grade) – Games will be played on a M/W/F format with Saturdays as a possible rain makeup. Teams will have approximately 2 sessions per week. Once games begin, teams may not practice as all fields will be in use for games.

Minors (Currently in 3rd-4th Grade) – Games will be played on a M/W/F format with Saturdays as a possible rain makeup.  Teams will have approximately 2 sessions per week. Once games begin, teams may not practice as all fields will be in use for games.

Majors (Currently in 5th-6th Grade) – Games will be played on a M/W/F format with Saturdays as a possible rain makeup.  Teams will have approximately 2 sessions per week. Once games begin, teams may not practice as all fields will be in use for games.

Pony (Currently in 7th-9th Grade) – This team will play in the Mel Harder League against other local communities. Local travel will be required. Outdoor practices will begin the end of April weather permitting. Last week of baseball will be approximately the week of July 10th-15th. Team will have approximately 1-2 sessions per week.

Coaches are needed for all divisions. If you can volunteer to be a head or assistant coach, please Register as a Coach.


Softball

Coach Pitch (1st-2nd Grade) – This division introduces hitting a ball pitched by your coach.  Learning, having fun and building teamwork are the emphasis while teaching proper throwing, catching, hitting and base running mechanics.

Pigtail (3rd-5th Grade) – This is an exciting year for young pitchers and players to develop a love for Fastpitch softball.  Pitching, stealing and sliding are introduced with an emphasis on reinforcing proper throwing, catching, hitting and base running mechanics.

Ponytail (6th-8th Grade) – Softball – This team will participate in the Solon League and will play games at Solon, Kenston and neighboring communities. The league emphasis is on development, learning, and fun.

T-Ball (Co-Ed)

T-Ball Coed (Currently in PreK-Kindergarten) – SEASON BEGINS AFTER MEMORIAL DAY
This coed division is grade-based for boys and girls currently in kindergarten or who will be attending Kindergarten in the Fall. The coed T-Ball division is an introductory league focusing on the proper mechanics of throwing, catching, hitting and base running. Hitting from the tee builds the necessary hand-eye coordination and muscle memory to be successful when hitting a pitch.
