FALL SEASON: July through November

Kenston Youth Tackle Football will be playing in the Ohio Gridiron Youth Football League for the 2025 season.


REGISTER FOR MIGHTY MITES
Kenston Travel Youth Football League for players entering 1st and 2nd grade in the Fall 2025.

GRADE & WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Teams are made up of 1St & 2nd graders
  • Player cannot be 9 years old
  • There is no max weight limit for ball carriers in this league at this level

REGISTER FOR JV & VARSITY
Kenston Travel Youth Football League for players entering 3rd through 6th grade in the Fall 2025.

GRADE & WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Teams are made up players by grade level
  • There is no maximum weight limit to play in this league, only to run the ball. You can play on the line at any size
  • A 3rd Grader cannot be over 10 years old
  • A 3rd Grader cannot be over 100lbs with full pads and be a ball handler
  • A 4th Grader cannot be over 11 years old
  • A 4th Grader cannot be over 115lbs with full pads and be a ball handler
  • A 5th Grader cannot be over 12 years old
  • A 5th Grader cannot be over 130lbs with full pads and be a ball handler
  • A 6th Grader cannot be over 13 years old
  • A 6th Grader cannot be over 140lbs with full pads and be a ball handler

PRICE BREAKDOWN

$245 Mighty Mites (includes practice jersey and other equipment except for cleats/cup)

$275 JV & Varsity (includes practice jersey and other equipment except for cleats/cup)

$40 Additional for Custom Game Jersey

  • Game jersey is required for all new players
  • Game jersey is optional for returning players
  • Returning players can use last season’s jersey or purchase a new one
  • Returning players must bring last year’s jersey to equipment fitting

EQUIPMENT and JERSEY FITTING at Auburn Community Park

Mandatory for all players to attend one of the following dates:

  • Thursday, June 5th from 5 – 7pm
  • Thursday, June 12th from 5 – 7pm

***ALL players must attend at least one fitting ***

FIRST WEEK OF PRACTICE/MANDATORY CONDITIONING WEEK

  • Monday July 28th thru Friday August 1st
  • MM – 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)
  • Auburn Community Park 6-8 pm

TEAM ROSTERS

  • Teams will be finalized and announced Monday August 5th if there are more than one team per grade level

FOOTBALL PRACTICES

Mighty Mites – 4 days per week, then 3 days per week once school starts
JV & Varsity – 5 days per week, then 3 days per week once school starts

  • Practice schedules will be set by coaches
  • Thursday’s will be family pizza night throughout the season!

GAMES

  • Saturday, August 16th – League Scrimmage Dates (Location TBD)
  • Saturday, August 23rd – First Official Games (Location TBD)
  • Potential for Playoffs/Championship Games through November 1st

ATTENTION PARENTS

  • MUST READ the concussion info sheet
  • Must complete the Lindsay’s Law training
  • Must turn in player’s birth certificate
  • Must have a physical completed by your doctor for your athlete
  • Must acknowledge the concessions requirement
  • Note: All equipment must be returned at end of season except jerseys

CONCESSIONS REQUIREMENT

  • Families are required to work two (1-2hr) shifts over the course of season
  • Game day concessions at Bomber Stadium
  • Families can opt-out but it is preferred that they work their required shifts
  • Families can opt out at any time by paying a $100 fee through KCE
