Looking for a camp for your creative child? This camp provides endless activities to channel their artistic and fantastical energy creating some fun and unique masterpieces, while exploring a few different mediums. Karen is a Gifted English teacher in Aurora, and Samantha is a 2024 Graduating Senior at Kenston High School. Together the Sunderhafts have been putting on their popular “Crazy Crafts” summer camp for years. Please bring an oversized, plain, white t-shirt to the first class which we will decorate and use as our art smock for the week.

There are ALWAYS more fun crafts to make! Summer camp is a great time for multi-step projects such as paper mache, stained glass, and clay. In addition to take-home projects, we will also experiment with a new art method each day such as pressing flowers, salt painting, collaborative murals and crayon melting. If your child enjoys creating unique, hands-on, personalized crafts, this is the camp for them!! Join Julie Voudris for this fun-packed camp where she will work with your child to create new crafts all week! Different crafts are made for Session A and Session B and from my previous summer camps. Please send a snack with your child. We will have a snack break halfway through the class each day. Also, send your child in clothes that can get messy!

Travel the World through ART! Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure – explore far-off places and learn about the who live there, from the Americas to Polynesia, from cosmopolitan to the countryside. Make different masterpieces each day such a drums, masks, canvases, prints, buses and more! Bring the unique creations home a build a globally inspired art gallery! Campers receive a passport with geotag stickers and a world map.
