REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JULY 31, 2026 for
FLAG REC FOOTBALL LEAGUES – 2026 PREK-9TH GRADE
Join the KCE Recreational Flag Football League to develop skills and learn the fundamentals of the game. This league is for players entering PreK (4-yr-olds +) through 9th grade in the Fall. All skill levels are welcome! Players will be placed on teams based on grade and skill level to balance the teams to create a competitive, fun league!

1st-2nd Flag
3rd-4th Flag
5th-6th Flag
7th-9th Flag
ROSTERS
- Rosters will be divided evenly by grade and skill level
- Teams are randomly chosen to give players the opportunity to make new friends and have exposure to different coaches
- Update: Beginning Fall 2026, players cannot request a specific coach. KCE will no longer honor any coach requests
COACHES
- Coaches are needed for all divisions
- Coaches can pick one assistant to coach
- Coaches cannot keep the same team/players season to season

SEASON
The season will begin with weekday practices the week of August 24th and will run through October
PRACTICES
- Each team will have one 1-hr weekday practice
- Practices are typically M/W/F to avoid soccer conflicts
- Practices are determined by coach availability
GAMES
- Flag Football games will be played on Saturdays
- Most games will be in the afternoon to avoid rec soccer
- 7th-9th could be in the mornings
- Game schedules TBD
TOURNAMENTS
- 3rd-4th Grade Flag will have an end-of-the-season Tournament
- 5th-6th Grade Flag will have an end-of-the-season Tournament
- 7th-9th Grade Flag will have an end-of-the-season Tournament
