Upcoming Free Admission at Cleveland Botanical Garden & Holden Arboretum

On Friday, April 25 from 10am-8pm, the Cleveland Botanical Garden is hosting a admission-free open house that includes a seedling giveaway, an Arbor Day ceremonial tree planting at 1pm, a community resource fair with information about a range of community organizations, ranging from Environmental Health Watch to the Cleveland Play House, and special activities for kids. On Saturday, April 26 from 9am-4pm, Holden Arboretum in Kirtland will be hosting as variety of programs to showcase their diverse, sprawling landscape and the programs they have to offer. here’s a seedling giveaway (while supplies last) of shrubs and trees that attract pollinators and benefit the environment. There are guided science hikes exploring the Holden landscape (you can sign up in advance), and tables with information about all of Holden’s programs and events. There’s entertainment too, including live music and stilt walkers, and food trucks to fuel you throughout the day. Get more information here.
